Decorative floor systems have a variety of uses in both general public and residential buildings but also in industrial environments where added aesthetic value is usually needed. These systems can also be used in building treatment, primarily on stair methods and corridor floors. They are perfect for unequal applications, such as spin out of control staircases, contoured mezzanines and corridors (no trimming loss standard for additional flooring materials ).
Decorative floors are mainly used in spaces demanding higher aesthetic value (cafés, boutiques, shopping centres, offices, corridors of industrial buildings ). The technology delivers a great, colourful, and practical surface finish.
The decorative floor systems can be applied onto a variety of bases – new machine polished floors, cured concrete, eroded or otherwise damaged concrete surfaces, old coatings, ceramic tiling and terrazzo. They are also used for restoration of older stair methods, asphalt tangible, etc .
Different parts are chosen for each specific project according to the respective physical, chemical and aesthetical properties needed – cast screeds with decorative chips (fluorescent or reflective chips are available ), cast screeds with dyed sands ( numerous grain sizes are available ).
Both of the above mentioned types offer a wide variety of colour modifications in type of hot dyed quartz sands, MMA granulate or PVA chips, which can be combined to necessary ratios to provide a design matching the customers design specifications.
The surface varies from anti-slip (depending on sand materials size and friction requirements) to completely clean, with gloss, semi-gloss or satin finish.
